We witnessed a lot of growth in all of our programs.. The Skills guys worked hard on their hitting, fielding and game situations. More than one player hit the ball over the fence! The childrens program saw many of the participants increase in their baseball prowess. In the Spectrum program we, for the first time, had children hitting live pitching. WOW!  Thanks also to Rick Monzon. Tom Smyth, Bridie Shankey, Peter and Pat Lemp and everyone who helped to make this program a success. Eric Appel, our childrens field supervisor was an big asset to the program. Thanks Eric!

The adults also had some firsts. With the assistance of the field supervisor, Doug Davis, we had our first skills competition measuring the hitting , throwing accuracy and running of interested participants. Our friends from WARC, Will and Harry, organized a softball marathon in September that we hope will become an annual event. They presented the league with a check in the amount of $4400.00 at the childrens barbecue. A BIG thank you for their efforts and generosity.

Finally, thanks go out to the Board who work all year to make the league go and grow....Annabelle, Anna, Eric, Evan, Ron, Scott and Paul.. they deserve a standing "O".
